PERLIE DAVIS

Certified Health and Life Coach

Hi! I'm Perlie Davis. I am a certified health and life coach and owner of Simply Pearl Health & Wellness.

I love working with busy women who struggle to juggle competing priorities that often result in putting themselves on the back burner. I support them in bringing themselves to the forefront by creating clarity around the most important priorities such that they don’t have to sacrifice themselves and their own self-care to handle their lives.

I know firsthand what it’s like to be a career professional with a family and a host of other obligations. I know firsthand the pressure and stress that creates and the impact it can have on one’s health and wellness. Bouts of insomnia, weight gain and weight loss, brain fog, fatigue and just the overall feeling of “unwellness”.

Sometimes that stress is exacerbated by feeling like we have to play the role of “superwoman” and have it all! Sometimes we shoulder the burdens of others when we can barely manage the weight of our own. Sometimes we say YES when we should say NO. And sometimes we just lose sight of that heart voice inside that tells us what we should really be doing with our time and energy. I’ve been guilty of all of these.

But all is not lost! By taking a step back and assessing the most important things in life, we can start to create a lifestyle that supports wellness on all levels – mind, body, and soul. We can create a purposeful vision for our lives and begin make choices by considering which ones are in alignment with that vision. We can make food choices and create eating habits that support us with life giving energy to handle the daily stressors. We do this by establishing tiny habits that we build on until they are locked in.

After all, wellness is an inside job. But it’s not just about what we are eating, it’s all the things we are doing, thinking, and believing that can manifest in the physical body in adverse ways.

I like to work with clients who recognize they need to make changes to their lifestyle. They realize they need to do a reset on their health and the lifestyle choices they’ve been making. So, what does a potential client look like?

  • They may have health issues they are currently working on with a doctor and need a coach to help them implement the changes they know they need to make.

  • They may be experiencing the impact that stress and anxiety are having on all levels and they want to do something about it.

  • They want to learn to place themselves at the top of their own priority list and practice a little self-care to focus on their own needs for a change.

  • They want to reach a personal goal but struggle to put together a plan of action and could use support in doing so.

Coaching not only provides a structure of accountability, but it also helps clients deal with the things that get in the way of their desired results. I call these “blind spots”. Those areas that can thwart even the best of intentions.

Wherever you are in your process, coaching just might provide the support you need to finally break through and see the results you want. Let’s talk.
